The June 30th clinic is a wrap!

30 06 2007

A picture perfect day with a great group of students.  You were all great!  I was amazed at how much you all progressed.

Yes, everything fits inside – 3 ladders, 2 teeters, 2 long skinnys, 3 bikes AND the windsurfing gear gets to stay!

Ray with perfect form on the skinny – focused through the finish

6-30-07-clinic-005.jpg

Diana – eyes forward with a little re-direct as she nears the end

Terri – the wheelie queen!

6-30-07-clinic-032.jpg

Look at Mark’s front tire – he is pushing it into the platform as he springs up off of the pedals

6-30-07-clinic-021.jpg

Sarah with perfect form – at the start of a strong pedal stroke, torso upright with arms straight.  The front tire is coming up nice and smooth

6-30-07-clinic-035.jpg

Look at Terri’s body position – moving forward and up.  As she unweighted the bike her rear tire floated right up and didn’t even touch the side of the box.

Perfect Sally!  Front tire touching down right on the edge of the ladder

6-30-07-clinic-036.jpg

Ray crouched and ready to spring up on the box

6-30-07-clinic-040.jpg

Diana rolls the drop – keeping her head quiet and allowing the bike to roll down and away from her, automatically shifting her weight back.

6-30-07-clinic-043.jpg

Look closely, Sally isn’t using the wall for balance any more!

Terry trackstands without the wall

Sarah masters the teeter!

Sally rolls the big teeter in style

6-30-07-clinic-054.jpg

Mark rolls the drop.  Terri, Sally, and Diana did it too!  Unbelievable!!

Don – body moving up, no weight on the pedals and the bike following him up.  Just time it a little earlier and the rear tire will float up there effortlessly

Peter wheelie drops the ladder.  Peter, I didn’t even teach you this!!
